The Olympic Koi, Goldfish & Water Garden Club is a Kitsap County, WA. area club established in 1987 to promote and enlarge the hobby of keeping, breeding, appreciating, and exhibiting Koi fish. We also disseminate information to the membership, other clubs and the general public and assist beginners to become successful Koi keepers.

This site contains articles relating to designing and building ponds and filter systems on our Koi Pond Design page and information on Koi Care and the About Koi page.

Meetings

Our club meetings are at 7:00PM, the first Tuesday of each month at a member's home. Pond viewing precedes the business meeting which is followed by an educational program, a period for questions and answers and the raffle of fish and/or supplies.

2012 PNKCA Convention

Olympic Koi, Goldfish & Watergarden Club is proud to be hosting the 28th annual PNKCA Convention of the Pacific Northwest Koi Clubs Association. This group of Koi Hobbyists is from clubs in Oregon, Idaho, parts of Canada, as well as the entire state of Washington. We are especially proud to host the Convention because Ed Fujimoto formed the PNKCA, as well as our Olympic Koi, Goldfish and Watergarden club.

Please join us for various seminars on the koi hobby, presented by fellow hobbyists and experts in the Koi and Watergarden field. We will have a Vendor fair with areas to buy and enjoy seeing the latest developments in the Koi hobby. There will be a Banquet Saturday evening, with many items to be raffled, and of course our Super Raffle has several very nice top-of-the-line items. The Auction by Larry Christensen is a high part of the evening. Larry does wonderful things to help our hobby and has been the PNKCA auctioneer for many years. Sunday we will be presenting some very special ponds to be shown on our Clubs Pond Tour. Buses will drive to the ponds and a very nice lunch will be offered midway through the day. There will also be 2012 Convention pins that are given to all those who sign up for either package A or B. For more information see the PNKCA Schedule of Events (.pdf) and the Registration Form for the PNKCA Convention and Pond Tour (.pdf)
