Applying Gunite to Tim's Koi Pond

Gunite is concrete with extra cement, fiber reinforcement, and applied by blowing it into place with lots of compressed air.  We added Xypex, which is a waterproofing additive that will make the concrete more impervious to water.  Something that we thought was prudent in a pond.  At this point, we don't intend to add a coating to the concrete.  We'll fill the pond and let the lime leach out for a month or two before we do a final flush of the system and add the fish.
